Introduction: This project is the second WWTP won by the JVCGCOC&CECEP in Ethiopia. The project includes two WWTPs, Kitime and Kotebe, with a total treat- ment scale of 100,000 m³/day. The sludge is processed by anaerobic digestion and biogas combined heat andpower plant. It is the largest WWTP project with the most advanced technology in the local area.
